The Civil Defence department launched a crackdown against illegal oil agencies which were selling petrol and diesel without adopting proper safety measures. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha, a team lead by Civil Defence Officer Fatima Bibi sealed four such agencies and confiscated paraphernalia. The illegal sale of petrol and liquefied petroleum gas will not be allowed under any circumstances, she said.
