Best dressed at Oscars 2018

KARACHI: The 90th edition of the Academy Awards proved to be a hit – not only with regards to those nominated but also with some of the stunning gowns that celebrities were spotted wearing.

From Sofia Vergara playing it safe in black to Jennifer Garner adding a pop of colour to her outfit, Hollywood’s leading ladies donned elegant yet eye-catching creations. Here’s a lowdown of who made the cut for best dressed at Oscars 2018.

The 45-year-old Modern Family star stepped out for the event in a black off-the-shoulder gown, finishing off her look with silver drop earrings and bright red lipstick. Accompanying Vergara was her husband Joe Manganiello, who looked dapper in his tux. The couple looked picture perfect while sharing some sweet moments in front of the camera.

A pop of colour will always ensure you stand out from the crowd – as proved by Jennifer Garner at the Oscars. The actor stunned in a cobalt blue gown by Atelier Versace. The show-stopping ensemble comprised a broad bodice, cape and floor-skimming skirt. We don’t know about you but we were left floored!

The Jane the Virgin star stunned in a voluminous gown by Zuhair Murad. The plunging gold gown featured shimmery accents and a silver belt that cinched to her waist – hands down flaunting her toned torso. Looking glam head to toe, the starlet accessorised her look with tiny earrings and a low ponytail.
