Work on 198 development schemes is in progress at brisk pace under the local government development package. A meeting was held by Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha in the chair to review the pace of work. The attendees were informed that work was continuing over 198 schemes for which funds of Rs158 million have been utilised so far. The meeting was briefed that the work was ongoing in various union councils of Tehsil Bhalwal, Kotmomin, Bhera, Shahpur, Silanwali and Sahiwal. The work was also in progress at fifty schemes for Tehsil Sargodha, which will be completed at a cost Rs130 million.
