Four killed in GT Road accident

Four people from the same family, including three children, were killed in a road accident on GT Road in Chichawatni on Monday.

The family was driving to Vehari from Lahore in a van, when the driver accidentally collided with a trawler on the road.

A person identified as Munir Ahmed, his five-year-old son Haider and seven-year-old daughter Farhat, died on the spot.

Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where four-year-old Neha sucummbed to her injuries.

Nine people have been injured as a result of this accident, including six children and two women.

A child is reported to be in critical condition.
