The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has stopped annual increment of officers for proceeding on ex-Pakistan leave without approval. One annual increment of Syed Azim Shah, BPS-19 officer, has been stopped after an inquiry against him proved that he proceeded for ex-Pakistan leave without prior approval. Similarly, increments of CDA deputy directors Syed Kashif Shah and Dr Hafiz Sajjad have also been stopped due to proceeding abroad without prior approval from the competent authority. Action against the officers was taken in line with CDA Employees Service Regulations, 1992. Similarly, Estate Management Directorate Administrative Officer Ghulam Mustafa has been dismissed from the service due to continue absence from duty without any approval. Fireman  Muhammad Zaheer (BPS-7) also faced charges of going abroad without prior approval from the competent authority, but CDA gave him the right to appeal.
