Unity in diversity: Fourth cultural festival begins at GCU

Colourful programmes to highlight diversity of cultures of Sindh, Balochistan, K-P, Punjab were presented by students

FAISALABAD:
The fourth cultural festival started at Government College University on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali inaugurated the event. On the occasion, colourful programmes to highlight the diversity of the cultures of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab were presented by the students. Famous artistes Malkoo, Zafarullah Lok, Qurat ul Ain, Aslam Lohar, Mushtaq Cheena, Yasir Malangi and others performed on Sufi music while Baba Najmi, Afzal Sahar, Sabir Ali Sabir, AH Atif and Shafqatullah Mushtaq read poetry in Punjabi Mushairah segment of the event.
