Employment: PUCIT’s first job fair attracts large numbers
Punjab University College of Information Technology held its first job fair at the Old Campus.

The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) held its first job fair at the Old Campus.
The Job Fair 2011 attracted a large number of university graduates and final year students. The alums and students explored professional options in multi-national and local information technology (IT) companies. They also obtained information about scholarships. Eighteen reputable IT organisations set up their stalls at the career fair and informed the students about vacancies available at their organisations. The companies conducted interviews of over 300 candidates, written tests of 200 students and collected 150 resumes.
Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar said that the fair would be organised every year.
