Good for health: ‘Sports to boost morale of police force’

28 games are included in the list of National Police Games, women would take part in 12 different games

LAHORE: Punjab Police have decided to organise National Police Games 2018 in the last week of March. The teams of police forces of other provinces and other law enforcement agencies would also take part in the annual event.

In this regard a letter has been sent to IG Sindh, KPK, Baluchistan, Azad Jamu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Motorway Police, Islamabad Police, Railway Police and DG FIA. As many as 28 games are included in the list of National Police Games while women would take part in 12 different games.

The games included hockey, volleyball, basketball, badminton, golf, athletics, judo, karate, jujutsu, practical shooting, tug of war, table tennis, baseball, lawn tennis, rowing, rugby, football, handball, shooting volleyball, kabaddi (Asian style), bodybuilding, wrestling, taekwondo, cricket, wushu, swimming, boxing and squash will be played by the participants.
