Non-availability: Students go without textbooks
Students at educational institutions run by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) are still waiting for textbooks
ISLAMABAD:
Students at educational institutions run by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) are still waiting for textbooks.
The new academic year began in all the FDE run institutes on April 11, but the directorate has not provided textbooks to the students at any institute yet. Parents fear that their children will not be able to complete the syllabus if they are not provided with books.
“Our teachers managed to give as a few old books that belonged to students who had been promoted to higher classes,” students of Islamabad Model College said.
