National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal chaired a meeting to review performance of Awareness and Prevention Division at NAB Headquarters. “We have devised a proactive anti-corruption strategy and operational methodology by setting three stages for the proceeding of cases including complaint verification, inquiry and investigation,” said the NAB chief. Deciding that NAB would monitor all mega contracts and tenders in the government departments in order to ensure transparency in award of contracts, he asked DGs of all the public departments to deposit all the contracts having estimated cost of Rs500 million and above.
