KARACHI: The National Council of ICMA Pakistan in its 386th meeting elected Ziaul Mustafa Awan as president for the period 2018-20. Awan had also served as president of the institute from May 2012-14.

Other office-bearers elected for the 2018-20 period are Vice President Abdul Wasey Khan, Honorary Secretary Shahzad Ahmed Malik and Honorary Treasurer Muhammad Yasin. Other members elected to the council are Ghulam Mustafa Qazi, Mohammad Iqbal Ghouri, Ather Saleem Choudhary and Abid Lateef Lodhi.

In its recent manifesto for the next three years, Zia along with his team, in line with local and global challenges, intends to bring far-reaching improvements through enhancing local and international collaboration, improving testing mechanism and introducing IT-based process among other changes.
