PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated probes against Maulana Saeedul Wahab of Mardan and Komail Khan of Mingora Swat for cheating people in the name of Modaraba schemes. The spokesperson on Sunday said that Maulana Wahab and Komail used to lure the general public to invest their hard earned money in their fake modaraba business on the promise that they would be paid huge profits on their investment. After paying profits for a few months on the principal amount, the two suspects would not only stop paying the profits but also refused to return the principal amount before disappearing. Affectees of the scams have thus been advised to approach the office of the K-P NAB director general located in the PDA Complex, Block - III, Phase - V, Hayatabad, Peshawar, for registering their claims during office hours.
