Software to help correct Urdu errors

If you were scared of making silly grammatical mistakes when typing Urdu, your worries may soon be a thing of the past with a software the help fix that syntax may be available soon. Poet and writer Akhtar Raza Saleemi teamed up with software programmer Saeed Raza Khan to devise a programme called ‘Harf Kaar’ to help spruce up your copy. Saleemi said that the software has been designed keeping in view the global and digital needs of Urdu writers and poets. The programme, he explained, auto-corrects all errors in Urdu diction, proof and expression — much like autocorrect in word processing programmes for the English language.
