The British model who was kidnapped to be sold off as a sex slave suffered severe physical abuse as she was drugged and stuffed in a suitcase.
Chloe Ayling, 20, was lured to Italy from her hometown for a fake photoshoot at an uninhibited location in Milan. The model was intoxicated and then packed inside a duffel bag, according to Italian investigators.
Further details of the abduction came to light during the trial of Lukasz Pawel Herba. The accused was arrested after dropping the model at the British consulate in Milan. Apparently, Herba released her after learning that she had a 2-year-old son.

Describing the incident, Ayling said: "A person wearing black gloves came up from behind and put one hand on my neck and the other on my mouth, while a second person, wearing a black balaclava, injected me in my right arm.
"I think I lost consciousness. When I woke up I was wearing a pink bodysuit and the socks I'm in now. I realised I was in the boot of a car, with my wrists and ankles tied and my mouth taped. I was inside a bag, with only a small hole that allowed me to breathe." Ayling still managed to scream and struggle that caused the kidnappers to stop the car thrice just to make her quiet.

Herba, 30, and his accomplices were arranging to auction her off for $300,000 on the dark web, as revealed by Italian press.
Talking about his client’s well-being, Francesco Pesce said: "She suffered a lot. It was an awful experience . . . and to believe that she would never see her family again."
