AJK to keep youth at par with the world
AJK government has decided to hold study tours to keep the youth abreast of developments in different sectors.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has decided to hold study tours to keep the youth abreast of developments in different sectors, abroad and at home.
Talking to APP here on Wednesday, AJK government officials said students having extraordinary aptitude will be sent to universities abroad for higher education. They said that the government has also decided to promote Information Technology (IT) studies in educational institutes and in order to achieve this goal, computer labs are being set up in state-run high schools to promote IT education at the gross root level.
The officials said in the first phase, computer labs will be set up in all the district headquarters of the state, with liberal financial assistance by Federal Computer Bureau. The foreign-funded project in the Northern Education Phase-II is also under process in AJK, the officials said.
