Drive against criminals continues in Bahawalpur
DPO says wrongdoers deserve no leniency
BAHAWALPUR:
Bahawalpur’s District Police operation against professional criminals was in process in which various criminals had been arrested.
Rajkaan Police Station head arrested a criminal named Muhammad Hassan and recovered more than a kilogramme of hashish from his possession while Uch Sharif Police Station head arrested a criminal named Bahadur Ahmad and recovered 90 litres of locally brewed liquor along with liquor brewing equipment. Police had registered the cases against the criminals in their respective police stations.
Heads of Baghdad ul Jadeed Police Station and Sama Satta Police Station arrested criminals named Abdul Rasheed and Muhammad Wasim along with seizing liquor respectively. Hasilpur Police Station head arrested a person with an illegal weapon and recovered bullets from his possession.
Police had registered the cases against the criminals separately in their respective stations and started proceedings.
District Police Officer Captain (Retd) Mustansar Feroz said that operation against professional criminals will continue with zero tolerance policy. “These social enemies do not deserve any leniency,” he added.
