SHABQADAR: Qaumi Awami Watan Party (QWP) Provincial Chairman Sikandar Sherpao vowed to strive hard for the rights of Pakhtuns so as to ensure their progress and development.

He said this during a visit to Michni lower Mohmand while speaking to locals and office bearers of the party, wherein QWP Provincial General Secretary Hashim Babar, Malik Nusrat, Malik Haneef and Amjad Mohmand were also present on the occasion.

He said that QWP had emerged as the lone voice for the rights of the oppressed masses which is why the people mostly relied on it.

“The public trust was more visible due to its struggle for the welfare of the common man,” Sherpao said.

He contended that QWP had taken up the cudgels of the masses when the people of Mohmand Agency had rendered matchless sacrifices both human and material in the war against terrorism.

He said that the people of the area are facing multiple problems and their party will change the fate of the people of area through the revolutionary and pragmatic steps aimed to bring prosperity and uplift for them.
