AIOU to hold two conferences in Feb
AIOU has organised as many as 28 national and international conferences and seminars during the last three years
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is set to hold two international conferences this month to project new trends and practices in the field of education.
The first one is International Conference on Nano -Material, Modeling and Simulation. It will be held from February 12 to 14. The second one is Research and Practices in Education scheduled on February 16 and 17.
The university has organised as many as 28 national and international conferences and seminars during the last three years. Beside this, seventeen research journals were published in difference disciplines on the initiative of Vice Chancellor Prof Shahid Siddiqui.
This is the part of the university’s efforts to acquaint its students and the faculty with the new academic developments taking place in various disciplines around the world.
They will be able to interact with foreign academicians to learn from their knowledge and experience in the relevant fields, said an AIOU press release.
