Car travelling to Karachi rams into passenger coach in Mastung

At least three people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured in an accident between a passenger coach and a vehicle on Luk Pass near Mastung.
According to Levies personnel, a car and a truck collided in the Ghanja Dhori area of Luk Pass on Wednesday night, leaving three people dead and five injured.

Rescue workers and law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured to Nawab Shaheed Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital, Mastung for medical treatment. Doctors referred two of the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta for their critical injuries.
“The car carrying passengers from Quetta was travelling to Karachi when it rammed into a passenger coach in Mastung,” said Deputy Commissioner Salahuddin Noorzai. ”Emergency was declared at the memorial hospital after the accident, while all the injured were shifted to civil hospital on time.”
Mastung is notorious for fatal road accidents as hundreds of passenger coaches departing from Quetta to Karachi on a daily basis are indulged in over-speeding and reckless driving.
