Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will open Matric to PhD-level admissions from Thursday, with a number of new academic programmes. The academic session (Spring 2018) is expected to enhance the university students’ enrolment that has already reached to 1.3 million, a news release said on Wednesday. Besides the degree programmes, AIOU will also offer short-courses of professional nature.
