People Rescued: PES provides first aid to 740 victims
PES provided first aid to 740 victims in different road accidents across Punjab on Wednesday

The Punjab Emergency Service (PES) provided first aid to 740 victims in different road accidents across Punjab on Wednesday. Rescue 1122 officials said eight people were killed while 457 suffered injuries in road crashes. However, 350 victims, who sustained minor injuries, were discharged on the spot after provision of first aid. They added 336 drivers, 16 juvenile drivers, 110 pedestrians and 369 passengers were among the victims of road crashes. The statistics showed that 198 accidents were reported which affected 195 people placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 79 in Faisalabad with 86 victims. Similarly, 54 road accidents occurred in Multan while first aid was provide to 61 victims. At least 547 motorcycles, 129 rickshaws, 77 cars, 31 vans, 10 buses, 34 trucks and 100 other vehicles were involved in road crashes.
