Milestone: PPHA receives approval for PC1
PPHA received approval for promoting and protecting the health and well-being of the people
LAHORE:
The government of Punjab celebrated an important milestone as Punjab Public Health Agency’s (PPHA) PC1 received approval at the 49th Provincial Development Working Party meeting. The meeting was chaired by Planning and Development (PD) Department Chairman Jahanzeb Khan, PD secretary and members, Department of Health secretaries and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting. Establishment of PPHA had taken the government of Punjab one-step closer to the vision set out by Punjab CM for promoting and protecting the health and well-being of the people. Keeping in line with his vision, department of health supported the Project Management Unit for PPHA over the last year as it undertook a comprehensive situational analysis and mapping out all public health functions.
