On Wednesday, the police booked two accused doctors, Dr Latif Ansa and Dr Fehmeeda Sarfaraz, for delaying and stalling the treatment of a car crash victim Nabeel Arshad, 20, which resulted in his death.
According to the victims family, the doctors refused to treat their son in time and took over three hours to admit him and prepare him for surgery.
The hospital medical superintendent said that he was unaware of the case but that he had launched a detailed inquiry into the incident. Police have started investigating the matter.
