Exploration: Canadian firm begins work in Sindh

Jura Energy Corporation announced on Wednesday that drilling has commenced at Wahid-I well located in Badin IV North Block in Sindh. It would be drilled to a depth of 2,300 metres, said Jura, which is based in Calgary (Canada) and holds a 27.5 per cent working interest in Badin IV North Block, according to a press release. Jura is engaged in exploration and production of petroleum and natural gas and conducts business in Pakistan through its subsidiary, Frontier Holdings Limited.
