Children of police martyrs to get free schooling
The education support would be provided from playgroup level all the way up to the PhD level
ISLAMABAD:
A group of private colleges on Thursday inked an agreement with Islamabad’s police to provide free education to the children of martyred cops.
The education support would be provided from playgroup level all the way up to the PhD level. The Islamabad Superior Group of Colleges Executive Director Dr Ayesha Zahid signed the MoU with Inspector General of Police Dr Sultan Azam Temuri.
According to the agreement, the education will be completely free for children of martyrs of Islamabad Police. However, cops who are currently serving in the force can avail up to 60 per cent concession along with scholarships.
A similar agreement had been signed between the Gujranwala police and the group of colleges when Dr Temuri was serving as the RPO there.
