Born in 1965 in Karachi, late singer Nazia Hassan began her career in the 1970s.

Recalling one of her first interviews in the industry, journalist Fifi Haroon took to Twitter and shared a short video of innocent Nazia.

Conducted by Tabassum on her famous talk show Phool Kile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, a very young Nazia appears. Answering questions innocently, Nazia croons to Aap Jaisa Koi - her elegance and charm visible from a young age.

From what seems like her first interview, Nazia reveals how she never received any training to sing and how she doesn't plan to either. "I'm going to school right now so I cannot take any lessons," she said.

She further added that she received several film offers but refused all of them as she was never interested in acting.

In 1981, Nazia won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback for Aap Jaisa Koi. Her albums including Disco Deewane, Young Tarang, Hotline and Sang Sang were immensely loved by her fans.

Unfortunately, the singer passed away in 2000 after a long battle with lung cancer.
