Youngster Dies: FIR lodged against negligent doctor

Relatives of the deceased boy protested against the doctor’s carelessness and professional negligence.

SIALKOT: An FIR was registered against a doctor for allegedly causing the death of a patient as a result of professional negligence.

According to details, a boy named Nabeel Arshad was brought for an appendicitis operation at the Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital.

However, in the operation theatre, Dr Ansar Latif gave an overdose of anaesthesia that caused severe complications and resulted in Arshad’s death.

Relatives of the deceased boy protested against the doctor’s carelessness and professional negligence.

On the complaint of the boy’s father Arshad Mehmood, police registered an FIR under section 322 against the accused doctor.
