It's being called the "unofficial royal tradition" now

Now we all know that Meghan Markle is not one to shy away from breaking traditions. The very fact that she – a bi-racial, American, divorced TV actor – is on her way to becoming the latest addition to Britain’s royal family is testament to her fearless nature. The Suits star is scheduled to tie the knot with Prince Harry on May 9 and needless to say, the world cannot wait to see what the look princess-to-be has planned for their impending nuptials.

Until then, it seems like Meghan is happy giving us one teaser after another. For instance, just a couple of days ago, she confirmed her signature royal beauty look, and of course, we’re totally on board!

While on a visit to Cardiff Castle with Prince Harry, she once again wore her long brunette hair swept up into a messy bun, with some volume at the crown, reported InStyle. In true Meghan fashion, this also breaks what we're calling the "unofficial royal tradition," given what we're used to seeing from the family's appearances. Three makes a trend, but it looks like this low-key, simple style is here to stay.

Meghan’s knotted chignon was secured at the back of her head, while shorter, wispy strands fell loose and framed her face. But this messy bun is slightly different than the initial relaxed updo she debuted just days ago.

The subtle bouffant at the crown gives the hairdo a more formal vibe. So next time you want to make your bun more appropriate for an evening or dressier occasion, go for volume by adding a bit of back-combing up there.

As for her makeup, Meghan stuck to subtle details like a pinky-nude lip, fluttery lashes, and a natural flush.

We can only wonder what royal tradition Meghan opt to break next?
