'Game of Thrones' to end with a bang: Maisie Williams

The series finale is all set to air in 2019

It's no surprise that fans of Game of Thrones would want the series finale to end on a high note. With the show nearing its end, Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark in the HBO drama has confirmed that the show will "go out with a bang," reported The Indian Express.



Stating that the upcoming episodes will be wonderful, the actor also mentioned, "I’m sad that it’s coming to an end but this series is so wonderful. I’m so proud of it. The story is just so good that we’re going to go out with a bang for sure!"

Earlier, it was also revealed that fans of the show will have to wait till 2019 to find out the fate of their favourite characters. David Benioff and D B Weiss are set to return as directors for the six-episode final season.

Game of Thrones is based on George R R Martin's best-selling fantasy novel titled A Song of Ice and Fire and has a huge worldwide audience. Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targayen earlier also revealed that the cast has been given strict instructions on posting anything on social media.

In an interview, the actor said, "We have a very strict social media ban this year because people need to stop spoiling it for everyone. It’s really frustrating."
