WCCI felicitates new CM Balochistan
President hopes economic prosperity will take place during his tenure

Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI), Quetta President Fehmida Jamali has extended felicitations to Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on being elected as new chief minister of Balochistan.
She hoped the new chief minister will start close coordination with the provincial chambers of commerce for economic prospects of the province in his short and challenging tenure.
Jamali said, “The investment scenario in Balochistan is now bright because of foreign investors' interest in economic development of abundant resources in mineral, fisheries, agriculture and livestock sectors.”
She said the province could develop into a major trading and business hub as the “potential of Balochistan is now widely understood in the wake of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”.
“The province has countless prospects of economic growth under the sphere of CPEC,” she said. “The strategic importance of Gwadar Port is to open new vistas for economic development of the province, as it will help Balochistan become a strategic business hub of the region, and it gives new impetus to Sino-Pak relations.”
She advised the government to create a more conducive environment in Gwadar City for development so that investors could look beyond real estate business, adding that the “Chinese investments have given confidence to the local tribes and now local and international investors are considering direct participation in the economic development of the province.
“We must understand that the prosperity of Pakistan is linked with the economic development and prosperity of Balochistan,” she added.
