KARACHI:
Karachi: SITE Association of Industry Acting Chairman Asad Nisar has expressed concern over unannounced power outages for 14 hours on Saturday night in industrial areas of the city.
In a statement, Nisar said that earlier on Saturday, the KESC management had informed the SITE Association that there would be no outages and industries would continue to run without interruption. He urged KESC to stand by its commitment of uninterrupted power supply, adding that industrial exports and the national economy had suffered financial losses and decline in manpower due to outages in the last week.
