Fire incidents claim two lives in Lahore

LAHORE: Two persons, including a minor girl, burnt to death in two fire incidents in the city on Monday.

The first incident occurred on Guru Mangat Road late Sunday night when a stationed truck caught fire. As a result, the victim identified as Bilal was trapped inside the truck. In no time, the fire engulfed the entire vehicle and he was burnt to death.

The rescue teams reached the spot and extinguished the fire and found the man's charred body. Rescue 1122 official said the exact cause of the death could not be determined. However, the police said it was an accident.
