Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, on Monday successfully went through her fifth chemotherapy session in London, according to Express News.
Moments before the procedure, her daughter Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter and uploaded a picture of her mother on Twitter, saying: "Ami in hospital today for her 5th chemotherapy session."
The tweet had also a prayer for her mother and all mothers' safety and health.

In the summer of last year, Kulsoom had gone to London for medical check-ups, where she was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Maryam confirmed the illness on Twitter.
