K-P to offer kitchen farming lessons 

More than 4,000 women will be trained in growing vegetables for their kitchen in their backyards

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is spending Rs5 million on promotion of kitchen gardening across the province, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to Agricultural Training Institute Peshawar, the government has started a two-year project for training women in kitchen gardening in the province. Under the project, more than 4,000 women will be trained in growing vegetables for their kitchen in their backyards, galleries and even balconies.
