
Paapam Chairman Iftikhar Ahmed, in a statement, said Pakistan’s automotive industry was currently going through a transformational phase with increasing demand for transport.
The new auto policy had rapidly changed the landscape and current industry players would re-enforce their market positions while new entrants would make strategies to enter the lucrative market.
Ahmed was of the view that the auto part manufacturing sector was reshaping as demand for vehicles increased. The sourcing of competitive auto components from within Pakistan was now even more important, he added.
