Zahir Shah was wanted in several cases of militancy
Wanted terrorist belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Zahir Shah, along with his accomplice was killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday.
Both the militants were involved in an attack on a Pakistan Army major in November last year.
Major Ishaq, 28, from the Khushab district of Punjab, embraced martyrdom during an exchange of fire with militants in Kulachi. He leaves behind a widow and a one-year old son.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the terrorists were planting IED in Kulachi area when forces traced them following a tip-off.
TTP commander Shah was wanted by the police and other security forces in several cases of militancy, including attacks on security forces and schools in South Waziristan.
