Some Samsung Note 8 devices might have a battery-related problem after users complained of charging issue.

Users have taken to social media to complain how the devices are unable to charge once the battery drains down to 0 per cent.

And if that was not enough, some have complained about the screen shutting down along with typing errors.

Much like Apple, Samsung replaces batteries, even if the device is a refurbished one,  after the problem is relayed to the carrier.

Mashable reports that this problem is a rare occurrence but has been ongoing and present for a while.

Experts recommend that the battery should be between 40 and 70 per cent before the user should recharge it as they are lithium-ion batteries which would drain very frequently.

Samsung has issued a statement in this regard according to phone arena accepting that some users have reported an issue with Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones and batteries.

“Of course, Samsung is taking all reports of this kind seriously, we only received a very small number of customer inquiries that could be linked to charge management, and unfortunately we can only comment on the matter further if we have more detailed information about the affected devices.”

Whether this becomes a big problem like the Note 7 debacle remains to be seen but any reports of faulty batteries are bound to make Samsung worried.

For now, if you own a Note 8 device, just make sure you don't let the battery drain down to 0 per cent, just to be on the safe side.
