18th amendment implementation: CCI passes on its recommendations
The federal government will continue to fund public universities and the HEC under the next NFC award.
ISLAMABAD:
The Council of Common Interest (CCI) has passed on its recommendations to the federal government that it should continue to provide funding for the completion of various projects of the federal ministries devolved under the 18th Amendment until the next National Finance Commission (NFC) Award in 2014, said Senator Raza Rabbani.
The federal government will continue to fund public universities and the Higher Education Commission under the next NFC award, he added.
Rabbani appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and chief ministers of all four provinces for the success of this mission.
