Widows to get milch animals in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD:
As many as 3,280 milch animals are being distributed among deserving widows of the rural areas in Faisalabad division in the next phase through balloting.

A ceremony was held at Hockey Ground Tandlianwala for distributing 248 buffaloes and cows among the deserving widows of tehsil Tandlianwala and Samundri.


Speaking on the occasion, Livestock Director Dr Muhammad Nawaz Malik said that during the second phase, in each district 820 big animals have been distributing and 135 and 113 cows and buffalos are distributed in tehsil Tandlianwala and Samundri, respectively.

DC Salman Ghani was chief guest on the occasion, while parliamentarians Jaffar Ali Hocha, Arif Mehmood Gill, Director General Livestock Dr Ghulam Muhammad Gill, AC Tandilianwala Abdul Razzaq Dogar, Director Livestock Dr Muhammad Nawaz Malik and others officers of the livestock department were also present.
