KHUSHAB: Dozens of women protested against the exclusion of 1,200 names from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) on Friday.

The protesting women said they were being victimised and that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership was embezzling funds in the scheme.

The women appealed to BISP official Farzana Raja that the affected families should be provided aid as soon as possible or the protests would continue indefinitely.

On the occasion, party leaders appealed to the party leadership to intervene in the matter and restore the aid.
