PHP Post Boa Pur had received information that five people conducted a robbery and raped a girl a night earlier

Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed to have arrested 22 offenders and registered 458 cases against commuters in the past week.
The team arrested a suspect who had allegedly committed a rape during a robbery. Moreover, cases were registered against commuters who had paid no heeds to traffic rules, eight arrests were conducted of persons who had displayed fake registration number plates. Furthermore, the team arrested six gamblers and seven drunk persons who were disturbing public peace.
PHP Post Boa Pur had received information that five people conducted a robbery and raped a girl a night earlier. Upon that, PHP team started search operation and traced a suspect out of five.
During investigation, they recovered Rs30,000 cash, a dish television, costly clothes, motorcycle and other valuables. PHP had registered 458 cases against traffic violators and seized eight motor bikes on using fake registration or green number plates.
