Police have recovered a nine-month-old infant kidnapped by house servants from the Hayatabad area. They also arrested the accused couple in the joint-operation with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
A lady doctor, identified as Maryam, had registered a complaint with the Hayatabad police station on December 26, stating that her servants Sahar Gul and his wife Alyia had kidnapped her infant child at gunpoint. Police registered an FIR in the case and started an investigation in it.

The couple was located the Tehkal area of the city where a team of police raided immediately and recovered the child.
The accused were arrested. The authorities also seized the gun used in the crime and recovered Rs11000 of stolen cash.
The child was handed over to the parents and both the accused have been booked.
