Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has cautioned that if another National Reconciliation Order (NRO) is given to any leader, his party will fight and make sure that it gets stopped.

“We won’t allow the double standards of awarding someone with NRO whereas we spent 12 years in jail and got acquitted afterwards only,” Zardari said while addressing the political jalsa for PPP’s slain leader Benazir Bhutto on her 10th anniversary in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

Hinting at Nawaz Sharif, Zardari said he had some reservations with the recently de-seated politician who “always had backstabbed us”.

BB’s accuser now spending money on terrorists: Bilawal

PPP’s chairperson Bilalwal Bhutto-Zardari said that the politician who once accused his mother, Benazir, for Karachi’s Karsaz bomb blast incident is trying to protect terrorists.

“Shaheed BB, that one person who didn’t deplore on your martyrdom and put the Karsaz bomb blast’s blame on you is now protecting terrorists and donating them huge amounts of money,” he said while addressing the jalsa at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

Taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, he criticized the political leader for following someone’s orders.

“He who used to call out corruption everywhere has now found out that his closest comrade is corrupt,” he said.

Towards the end of his speech, Bilawal said that after BB’s death politics has become the bread and butter of hypocrites.
