Just Room Enough Island is around 3,300 square feet when measured with Google Earth
The smallest inhabited island is Just Room Enough Island off Alexandria Bay, New York.
This is the view of Conde Nast Traveler, who pointed out the unique nature of the island, and the house built on it. Just Room Enough is part of the Thousand Islands archipelago which is found in the St Lawrence River as it flows out of Lake Ontario.

Local convention dictates that the Thousand Islands archipelago only constitutes those parcels of land which remain above water all year round and can sustain two tree or shrubs. The Sizeland family bought such an island, called Hub Island, in the 1950s and built a house which covered almost the entire parcel of land- aptly renaming it Just Room Enough Island.
Hidden gem of Pakistan
However, the Sizelands' initial intention to have a quiet weekend house went awry as tourists began cruising near the house to view the unique building. Just Room Enough Island is around 3,300 square feet when measured with Google Earth- approximately one thirteenth of an acre.
