Commitment fosters innovation: CSF expert
LAHORE:
Innovation does not happen overnight, rather it is fostered by a sustained commitment to every step of the innovation process, said Dr Lars Eklund, a Competitiveness Support Fund (CSF) expert and founder of the Scandinavian Competitiveness Group.
He was speaking on Monday at a workshop on innovation organised by the CSF in association with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) titled “Pakistan Innovation Initiative”. The stakeholders discussed the significant challenge of developing and refining the strategy and the implementation plan by giving their inputs.
The aim of the workshop was to draft an innovation policy with the involvement of all stakeholders and submit it to the government for its approval. Currently, no innovation policy exists in Pakistan.
