PESHAWAR:
The apex quality control body of the country and the University of Peshawar have signed an agreement to promote need-based standards and quality control of educational programmes apart from the transfer of technology to the industries.

Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) Director-General Muhammad Khalid Siddiq and the University of Peshawar (UoP) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Asif at the varsity.


Under the agreement, PSQCA and UoP’s Department of Quality Enhancement shall explore market-oriented research and development projects and other activities in the area of common interest.

The organisations will also share their human and material resources including instruments services and facilities for the purpose.  Moreover, University of Peshawar experts and researchers will be included in PSQCAs’ technical committees while officials from the standards body will be included in the varsity’s advisory bodies.
