PIA celebrates Christmas with Santa surprise for passengers
Statement says flight purser Peter Inayat distributes presents to the passengers on-board flight PK-308
The passengers on-board a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight on Sunday met with a pleasant surprise as the Santa Claus flanked by the cabin crew distributed presents among them.
"In the spirit of sharing the happiness and joy of all those celebrating, our Senior Flight Purser, Peter Inayat dressed up as Santa and, with the help of the cabin crew, gave presents and goodies," spokesperson of the national flag carrier said.
"The passengers of PK-308 from Karachi to Islamabad had lots of fun," it added.
On the eve of Christmas, the airline added, PIA celebrated the festivities on-board various flights. "Gifts, candies and chocolates were distributed on the flight too."
It added that the passengers were extremely delighted by this courteous gesture of the airline.
"The purpose of the gesture was to share the Christmas festivities with those celebrating and promoting the universal message of harmony, love and peace," the airline concluded.
