Police also nabbed seven shopkeepers for decanting gas illegally in LPG cylinders

Police claimed to have arrested 78 accused, including 52 proclaimed offenders, in the district on Saturday. Police Spokesperson Amir Waheed said during a drive, police arrested 78 outlaws and seized nine pistols, three rifles, six kilogrammes of hashish and 25 litres of liquor. Meanwhile, the police also nabbed seven shopkeepers for decanting gas illegally in LPG cylinders. The police said the accused were identified as Khalid, Shahzad, Ramzan, Khalil, Tanvir, Bilal and Mujahid. The acvcused were arrested from different parts of the city.
