Minor boy drowns in sewerage pond 

Parents of victim and other people of village started searching him and found his body later

FAISALABAD:
A minor boy drowned in a sewerage pond in Tandlianwala police station limits. The police said that four-year-old Tahir Abbas, a resident of Chak No 391-GB, left home for school when he slipped and fell into the sewerage pond. As a result, he died on the spot. When the boy did not reach the school, the teachers contacted his parents and informed them about his absence.


On receiving information, the parents of the victim and other people of the village started searching and found his body from the sewerage pond. Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident an FIA team arrested seven accused for getting money from people on the pretext of sending them abroad. The FIA officials said the accused received huge amounts from different persons on the pretext of sending them to the UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arab, etc. However, they neither sent them abroad nor returned their money.
