Anushka and Meghan are living a fairytale: Priyanka Chopra

Superstar exhibits joy and support for both weddings

Everyone and their mothers have been obsessed with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, and it comes as no surprise that Bollywood’s ‘desi girl’ has also jumped on the bandwagon.

At the Zee Awards 2018, Priyanka Chopra was asked about the #Virushka wedding and the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Harry with Suits actor Meghan Markle to which PeeCee responded, “It is a fairy tale for both Meghan and Anushka, two people I know really well. They have this fairytale which is really great to see. I’m so happy for them," reported Pinkvilla.

Priyanka is expected to attend Virushka's wedding reception in Mumbai on December 26, 2017. It has also been reported that she will allegedly serve as Meghan’s maid of honour.

The two first met at a party in Toronto and it seems like they haven’t really stopped hanging out ever since. When the news of Meghan and Prince Harry’s engagement broke the internet, the Quantico starlet was one of the first ones to congratulate them. And now, Priyanka will supposedly walk down the aisle as Meghan’s bridesmaid on her wedding in May, 2018.

During the awards night, Priyanka also revealed her own marriage plans, “Marriage is not something that can be planned. If I find somebody… somebody that’s suitable, then I will tie the knot. But I haven’t found that special someone yet.”

The superstar has previously stated that she is definitely open to marriage, “Marriage is ­definitely on the cards but will happen when the time is right. It will happen when it is destined to.”

She added, “If I do decide to take the plunge, it would be with someone who understands and supports me. At the end of the day, two people make a relationship work. It will take understanding and prioritisation from both.”

Priyanka was questioned about her opinion over the Padmavati ban at the red carpet where the actor said, “I have an incredible relationship with Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) and I admire him tremendously.”

She continued, “I know this film will eventually be released and people will ultimately see the art and hard work behind it. Naturally, the team just have to make sure everything is sorted.”

I will always stand by not just Sanjay sir but also the Padmavati’s cast, especially Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.”

Priyanka has always been one of SLB's muse. She has previously delivered a power packed performance in Bajirao Mastani. Other than that, PeeCee also did a dance number titled Ram Chahe Leela in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.

On the work front, Priyanka’s fans are waiting to see her in some Bollywood movies while she continues to leave a global impact.
